Big Picture
Electric car start-up Canoo wanted two media walls for their main entrance — one to share company updates with investors, one to inspire employees.
One of the most radical aspects of Canoo's car is its interface. While every other carmaker was adding bigger screens, Canoo took a smarter, more sustainable route — using the driver's phone as the screen. I wanted that idea to shape the installation itself. So the concept: invite employees to donate their old phones, and turn them into the media walls. The result doubled as a quiet reminder that it takes many individuals coming together to form one bigger picture. Ocean waves served as the visual motif, nodding to both sustainability and the company's California roots.
I also built a demo of the interactive content — KPI dashboards, department and employee intros, event notifications, and more. The portraits shown in the animation were placeholders for the internal pitch, not my work. The project was never realized.
